Our Trainer

Lydia

I grew up in Berlin, Germany and developed a passion for dogs at three years old when I met my day care teacher's Rottweiler. I was not allowed to have my own dog, but that did not stop me from spending time with dogs. I spend every free minute walking and training the dogs in my neighborhood. That gave me experience in handling dogs of many different breeds, sizes and temperaments.

In 2020, I moved from Berlin to California to attend the California State University, Fresno and get my degree in Communication. I finished the program in May of 2023. During my time in California, I finally adopted my first dog from a local shelter, which made me realize I want to peruse a Career in dog training. I started volunteering at the animal shelter and worked with their trainer for over one year. I learned how to train dogs professionally through the CATCH Canine Trainer Academy. I use positive reinforcement for my training and am especially focused to build a relationship based on trust with all of my students.
