Groomer

Annette

Born and raised in Williamson County, Annette knew from an early age that she wanted a career working with pets. Her childhood home was always filled with dogs, cats, bunnies, and an overwhelming love for anything with fur! Her career began in 2008 when she started veterinary technician school, however she soon realized that the more creative side of grooming appealed to her. After learning the basics of bathing, Annette trained under a certified master groomer for three years. During this time, Annette perfected her AKC breed standard trims and became extremely proficient in hand scissoring. Realizing she was a talented groomer, a local pet grooming school employed Annette as a grooming instructor for the next year and a half. After moving closer to Franklin, Annette desired to work closer to home and came to My Second Home Pet Resort in June 2014. Annette enjoys working with all breeds of dogs. She has a soft touch with the pets in her care, putting the most scared, anxious pups at ease with her calm demeanor. Annette believes that grooming should be fun for the pet. She loves it when a dog leaves with its tail wagging after a good grooming experience. Annette currently shares her home with 2 of her 3 children and 4 dogs, and the occasional wildlife rescue.
