Pet Stylists at My Second Home

A graduate of the New York School of Dog Grooming, Kimberly, My Second Home's Grooming Manager, celebrates her 24th year in the profession in November 2008. As a Certified Master Groomer with the National Dog Groomers Association of America and a Certified Veterinary Technician, Kimberly has been competing nationally for fifteen years in national grooming competitions, and was recognized among the top 10 grooming professionals in the United States for 2 consecutive years. Kimberly also takes pride in her gold and silver medals in International competition. She has recently started showing her co-owned dog Karue, a standard poodle, as well as judging competitions.

Cassie has been grooming pets at My Second Home since 2005. She recently achieved National Certified Master Groomer status through the National Dog Groomers Association of America, passing both the practical and written exams with flying colors! As well, she has attended many educational seminars to further heighten her skills. She has exceptional knowledge and skill in all aspects of grooming all breeds. She owns three miniature schnauzers as well as co-owning her Show Standard Poodle Karue with Kimberly. Continuing her education, Cassie's next endeavor is to become a Certified Canine Massage Therapist.

Tim graduated from The Paragon Academy of Dog Grooming in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2002, graduating top of his class, and the only student to ever receive the Rising Star Award. He has competed in national grooming competitions, as well as attended several Pet Fairs and seminars to continue to further his education. Tim is working towards specializing in Terriers. When time permits, Tim likes to relax and spend his free time with Cody his Jack Russell Terrier, and his horse Berty.
